Mr Teniola is a highly experienced telecommunication Engineer with over twenty [20] years hands on exposure in the African, European and American Telco markets. He recently joined IS Internet Solutions Limited, Lagos as their new Chief Executive Officer [CEO]. IS, a major investor in the Telecommunication Sector in Nigeria, provides MPLS VPN, Cloud and Satellite based communication services over the West African region and is a member of the Dimension Data Group, South Africa. Before coming on board with IS, he was the Chief Operating Officer [COO] & Director of Engineering for Phase3 Telecom.

He was responsible for P&L, Corporate Strategy, Engineering and overall running of Operations. Prior to Phase3, Mr. Teniola was General Manager of World Telecom, based in Portugal, where he was instrumental in rolling out Broadband and Mobile Services across the country.

He has held executive leadership roles across marketing and engineering on projects for companies such as: British Telecom Plc., Alcatel-Lucent Technologies and Vodafone Plc.

He contributed as a member to the ETSI Standardization work group committee for Next Generation protocols and IP Distribution Architectures.

Mr. Teniola has a Higher National Diploma in Electrical & Electronic Engineering and a Bachelor of Engineering Degree with Honours in Computer & Information Engineering from South Bank University, London. He is also a graduate of the University of Bath School of Management, UK, where he obtained his MBA in 2003 and a member of the Institute of Directors [MIoD], London.

He is currently the first Vice President of the Association of Telecommunications Companies of Nigeria


Elizabeth Aina Scott

Elizabeth Aina Scott is the Zonal Director at NTA Lagos Network Centre TV Broadcasting at        Nigerian Television Authority She was the Zonal Director at NTA Ibadan Network Centre from May 2009 – December 2010.She holds  a  Msc. Mass Communication from University of Lagos, Nigeria.

 Yen Choi

Mr. Yen Choi is a telecommunications entrepreneur and visionary.  He currently is the Group Chief technology officer and executive vice president of Netcom Africa, a pan African IP service provider founded in 2004 here in Nigeria. 

Mr. Choi has a wide global telecommunications experience spanning from Asia to North America, where he was Vice President of Operations at SpeedCast, in Hong Kong, providing satellite based communications and content delivery networks throughout Asia, and Middle East. Prior to that he has successfully started several Internet Technology companies in Canada.

Mr. Choi is passionate about how people use technology to better their lives and actively contributes to the Internet Exchange Point as a member of the Board of and Chair of the technical committee.

In his spare time he has travelled to all corners of Nigeria and Africa and has recently climbed several mountains including the highest peak in Africa, Mount Kilimanjaro and the highest peak in West Africa, Mount Cameroon.

 Tayo Egunjobi

Tayo Egunjobi is a seasoned technology marketing executive and advocate with 15 year ICT experience creating, designing, building and selling innovative B2B and B2B2C ICT solutions in Nigeria. He currently leads MTN Nigeria¹s ICT initiatives within the enterprise business segment driving the adoption and penetration of Internet and ICT services locally.  

He holds a BSc in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Ibadan and an MBA from Cranfield School of Management, UK specializing in Marketing & Innovation.



Managing Director/CEO

Sunday graduated from the University of Ilorin, with a Bachelors and later a Masters degree in Electrical Engineering. He is a renowned Internet and Networking Consultant with a wealth of experience in the industry.Between 2003, and 2005, Mr Folayan served on the At-Large Advisory Council (ALAC) of the Internet Corporation for Assigned Networks and Numbers (ICANN), the global body responsible for the coordination of Internet Resources.

Between 2004 and 2010, he was a Director of the African Network Information Center (AFRINIC), the IP Address Registry for Africa, an organization that is committed to Internet Protocol Address utilization. 

He is one of the promoters of the Ibadan Internet Exchange Point (IBIX), the first Internet  exchange point in Nigeria. He also serves on the Board of the Nigerian Internet Exchange Point (NIXP), an organization formed for the localization of Internet Traffic in Nigeria. 

He is the Co-convenor of the Nigeria Network Operators Group, an organization formed to advance the development of Internet Protocol Manpower development in Nigeria. He is a long time member of the Nigeria Internet Group (NIG) and the Nigeria Computer Society (NCS). 

Mr Folayan's passion for the Human Capital development of Nigeria and indeed Africa is responsible for his participation in several initiatives such as the African Network Operators Group (afNOG), African ISPs Association (AfrISPA).

  Muhammed Rudman

 CEO, Internet eXchange Point of Nigeria (IXPN)

Muhammed Rudman is the chief executive officer, Internet eXchange Point of Nigeria (IXPN),      Nigeria's first and only neutral IXP. He is a veteran IT professional with over 13 years extensive    experience in network design, implementation and operations. Rudman is an active member of several professional organizations in and outside Nigeria, and has contributed immensely to the development of ICT sector in Nigeria. He also serves on the Board of Nigerian Internet Registration Association (.ng ccTLD custodian) and is their volunteer DNS administrator.

Mr. Ope Odusan is currently the Chief Operating Officer of the Nigeria Internet Registration Association    (NIRA). He acquired most of his educational and professional experience in the United States of America, after his first Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Ibadan in 1987. 

He completed his NYSC service in Sokoto in 1988 before he travel abroad to pursue advanced studies. Other educational qualifications include Master Degree in Biotechnology from the Illinois Institute of Technology, Chicago, USA, Master Degree in Technology Management from the University of Maryland, Maryland, USA, Oracle DBA Certificate from the Pennsylvania State University, USA.

Mr. Odusan is a performance driven professional with over 20 years experience in the Pharmaceutical and IT Industry. His career experiences include work at Global Pharmaceutical companies like, Abbott LaboratoriesJohnson & JohnsonPfizer  and Software company Accelyrs. He has extensive experience in IT Project Management, Regulatory Policy Development & ICT Program and Project Implementation, Internet and E-Commerce technology. Mr Odusan has extensive hands-on technical and management experience in Internet and communication technology software and hardware systems.

Mr Odusan is a member of several professional bodies including American Society for Quality (ASQ), Association for Computing Machinery (ACM) and Project Management Association, New York Chapter. He also sits on the board of directors of Ghotek Technologies and Advanta Laboratories Ltd.


Ken Ugbechie is currently the Editor-in-Chief of Political Economist magazine and Chairman of  Business & Technology News Publishers Foundation (BTPF), promoters of Nigeria Content Advocacy Initiative (NiCADI). He was at various times the Infotech Editor of the Daily Times, Editor of the defunct Post Express, Editor of the Daily Times and columnist at BusinessDay.

A member of the Nigerian Guild of Editors and World Editors Forum, Ugbechie is a widely travelled journalist whose works had been published in several international journals. He is also the Executive Secretary of Africa Telecom Development Initiative (ATDI).

An apostle of deregulation, he was at a time the Media Adviser to the President of the Senate, Senator Anyim Pius Anyim. Ugbechie, a language purist, is a multi-discipline graduate of the University of Lagos (Zoology and Mass Communication).

 Ikechukwu F. Nnamani

 Engr. Ikechukwu Nnamani is the President/Chief Executive Officer of Medallion Communications Limited. Medallion has strived and caved out a niche in the Nigerian telecom industry as an authority in interconnect exchange clearinghouse services. Medallion currently has 35 telecom operators in Nigeria as it customer including all the major GSM, CDMA, Fixed Line, ISPs, and Value Added Service Providers. Medallion is currently the hosting site for the Nigerian Internet Registration Agency domain servers as well as a site for the Nigerian Internet Exchange Point. Several crucial infrastructure providers such as Google, International Gateway Providers, etc are also hosted at Medallion.

Engr. Nnamani worked as an optical systems engineer at Luxcore Networks Inc., in Atlanta Georgia, USA. While at Luxcore, he helped design and manufactured Luxcore’s Semiconductor Waveguide Optical Regenerative Device. It is the world’s first integrated photonic wavelength converter chip. It guarantees non-blocking of traffic flow in telecommunication networks. Engr. Nnamani equally played a key role in the design and manufacture of Luxcore's LambdaXchange. The LambdaXchange is the world first demonstrated All Optical Router. The LambdaXchange won the best system award at the 2001 Optical Fiber Conference at Anaheim, California.

Engr. Ikechukwu Nnamani holds a Master’s in Mechanical Engineering degree from Tennessee State University, Nashville Tennessee, USA as well as a Bachelor in Mechanical Engineering degree from University of Nigeria, Nsukka


Mr. Chimezie Patrick Uzuegbu, practices and teaches librarianship in Michael Okpara University of Agriculture Umudike Library and LIS School respectively. He has a bachelor and master’s degrees in Library and Information Science (BLIS & MLIS) obtained from Abia State University (ABSU) Uturu and a post graduate diploma in Education (PGDE) gained from National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN).

He is a Chartered Librarian with Librarian's Registration Council of Nigeria (LRCN) and is an active member of Nigerian Library Association (NLA), specifically the PRO of Abia State Chapter. 

He is also a Chartered Associate of the Chartered Institute of Administration (CIA) attained through rigorous professional qualifying examinations and is a member of the Nigerian Institute of Management (NIM). 

He has to his credit two (2) learned books and twenty-two (22) scholarly publications published in both foreign and indigenous journals and conference proceedings.

His research interest is on the broad theme of scholarly communication: open access to knowledge, institutional repository, local content and digital librarianship

 Michael Ugwu

Seni Williams

Managing Director, Tara Systems Limited

Seni joined Tara in 1984 starting as a software analyst and operating systems specialist.  He led Tara's introduction of Oracle to Nigeria and West Africa in 1985 and simultaneously launched Unix and open systems as challengers to the mainframe dominance at the time.  He personally wrote the world's first Imaging and BLOB storage subroutines and systems for the Oracle database system which had previously been considered impossible.

Seni co-led Tara's software development and evolution into a global supplier of new generation banking software based on Oracle, TCP/IP and networking in general.  Tara's banking and imaging software was exported to over 13 countries in Africa, Europe, South America, Canada and the USA.

Prior to Tara, Seni worked as a consultant at Touche Ross & Co, Boston, USA, International Computers Limited (ICL) in Abu Dhabi, Kuwait and the UK.  He began his working career at Price Waterhouse & Co, London.

Seni graduated in Pure Chemistry from London University's Chelsea College of Science and technology (now Kings College, KCL).  He attended Millfield School, Somerset, UK where he began his life with computers writing  software at the age of 13.

Adebiyi Oladipo

 Adewole Ajao

Dewole who holds a Bachelors Degree in Computer Science from University of Ibadan in Nigeria has several years’ experience in Internet Service Provision and integration of WiMax/CDMA networks with IP-based value added services.

In the Nigerian Internet community, he was one of the early volunteers that managed the .ng Country Code Top Level Domain (ccTLD). He also serves as a resource person along with several others from the higher education and private sectors at the annual ngNOG workshops and meetings forum. ngNOG is the Nigerian Network Operators’ Group anchored by the Nigeria ICT Forum of Partnership Institutions.

As a consultant, he has worked for Internet Service Providers, government agencies, institutions of higher education and multinationals in the areas of network design, bandwidth management, web hosting, virtualization, telephony, billing, and training.

In his present capacity as the operations Manager of the Bandwidth Consortium (http://bandwidthconsortium.org), he manages business and technical operations of the Bandwidth Consortium which is a collaborative bandwidth purchasing vehicle that provides research and education institutions reliable Internet bandwidth at wholesale prices. The Forum is also in the process of deploying local wireless clusters that will enhance the ability of members to exchange traffic locally in collaboration with the IXPN. 

Yusuf Z. Kazaure

Yusuf Z. Kazaure possesses both Bsc and Msc degrees in Architecture from Ahmadu Bello University,  Zaria in 1984 and 1986 respectively. He also holds a Post Diploma in Management (PGDM), and a Masters in Business Administration (MBA) from the Bayero University Kano in 1990 and 1994, as well as a Diploma in Computing from Oxford University, England 2004

 Gbenga Sesan

Gbenga Sesan is the Executive Director of Paradigm Initiative Nigeria (PIN), a social enterprise that connects underserved people-groups with ICT-enabled opportunities.  Owen Iyoha

Owen Iyoha is the COO and co-founder of Datasphir Solutions Limited. He holds a BSc. Joint   Honours degree in Chemistry and Biochemistry from Salford University, UK. Mr Iyoha has over 25 years of experience in the ICT industry working in the UK, US and Nigeria.

He has core skills in middleware integration, database technologies, metadata management and open source software. Segun Akano is a young entrepreneur with both engineering and marketing background. An award winner of the 2004 Young Managers¹ Competition by the virtue of his research work on the growth of SMEs in Nigeria using the Internet Medium.

He holds a Bachelors degree in Building from the University of Ife, now Obafemi Awolowo University (1984 ­ 1989). He also obtained a Masters Degree in Business Administration from the University of Lagos, (1996 ­ 1999).

He has attended several courses in varying disciplines like; Marketing, Management, Engineering and Auditing. He served in the NYSC capacity at the Building and Engineering Department of the Central Bank of Nigeria, (1989 ­ 19990).

He was a Sales Executive at General Metal Products Ltd. Amuwo Odofin, Apapa (1990-1993). He joined the dynamic Marketing Team of Nigerite Limited, Oba Akran Avenue Ikeja (1993 ­ 2003) where he handled a range of Portfolios as Sales Administrator, Projects Engineer, TQM Facilitator and ISO 9002 Internal Auditor. In April 2003, he joined a team of other talented Nigerians to form Upperlink Limited. He is a member of Nigerian Institute of Management.

Salvation Alibor is the CEO of Syscomptech Communications Ltd - an Internet & Web Service providing corporation based in Lagos, Nigeria. He is a Business Developer & Strategist who has spent the last 8 years building and growing ICT businesses. He obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Electronic Engineering from the University of Nigeria Nsukka in 2003 and attended several business management and development courses, including the Certificate in Enterprise Management (CEM) from the Enterprise Development Centre (EDC) of Pan-African University.

He worked with SignOnAfrica Communications Ltd as General Manager till December 2006 and has served on the Board of Trustees of The Sowers – a faith-based organization reaching out to the rural and city-slump communities with hope since 2007. In 2004, he planned and promoted the “Mass Education in Information Technology Campaign” for Kano State and co-hosted the “Kano Can Do IT” – in collaboration with Centre for Information Technology Development (CITAD) with the support of the Kano State Government, resulting in amazing growths in IT acceptability, usage and policies in Kano state from 2004/2005 till date.

He enjoys planning, participating in strategy & brainstorming sessions, product development, teaching, traveling and time out with friends & family. He is married to Onyekachi Salvation with a 2 sons.
